Owner: - What is it regarding? Senior Marketer: - John, the purpose of my call is to introduce my self and my company. Is it convenient to talk with you?

Senior Marketer: - You spoke to one of our marketer David yesterday and participated in a questionnaire. (Does it ring a bell?) We represent a group of business coaches in US who work on one on one basis with small to medium sized business owners and concentrate on developing and growing their businesses in various forms. For example
  • Increasing turnover and sales
  • Reducing the no. Of hours you put in your work
  • Fine-tuning staff performance to increase productivity & efficiency
We promote business coaches by offering a one hour free session with one of our coaches and our coach will directly address the issues you are interested for your business.
We are booking times 2 to 3 weeks ahead and was wondering if we can set up an appointment with one of our coach to come out and see you.
My role is to identify challenges / issues you are interested in for your business as our coach will come well prepared to address them in one hour session. All I have to do is ask few questions about your business and our coach will come well prepared to give you quality time.

We engage a business owner in dialogue and understand his challenges in the business. Our marketer adjusts his strategy mid stream before he asks following questions.
  • First and last name
  • Telephone, Fax, e-mail, website and mobile
  • Business name and address
  • Nature of the business
  • How old is the business
  • No. of employees (full timers, part timers and casuals)
  • how satisfied are you with productivity, efficiency, staff culture, recruitment and job fit
  • No. of partners, their names and if they will be present in the meeting
  • How many hours do you work ‘IN’ the business? Are you happy with it? If no, “if our coach could show you a way to reduce working hours and still have same productivity – what will it mean to you?
  • Turnover of the business (Is it 350k to 500K, 500K to 1 Mill or over 1 mill?)
  • If the business owner is getting all that he needs from his business now? What is the first thing you would like to improve in your business?
  • On a scale of 1 to 10, where 1 is extremely dissatisfied and 10 is extremely satisfied, how will you rate sales, marketing, cash flow, ROI, turnover.
(Name of the prospect) this brings me to the end of our conversation; I appreciate you taking out time for this. We have many coaches available in your area. The best one for you is (name of the coach) and he is from (name of your company).
